This is a second study in oils of Blessed Virgin Mary, Catholic, Christian art. It is inspired by a painting of un-known author.
The support canvas has some texture and the texture shows through the paint on different areas of the portrait painting.

Original oil painting on stretched canvas. Technique: several layers of oil paint were applied using blending technique with brushes.
Staples' free edges are painted. It is gallery wrapped, ready to hang or frame. It is strongly suggested to frame it since it will look beautiful in an ornate golden frame.
